Another Rhode Islander on ‘Millionaire’
By Lynne Chaput There will be another Rhode Islander to root for Wednesday on “Who Wants to be a Millionaire.” Jeremy Blais, a Bishop Hendricken and URI grad who grew up in Coventry, competes Wednesday at 4 p.m. on WLNE, Channel 6. Fellow Rhode Islander Meredith Vieira asks the questions with Blais’ parents, former State Sen. Leo Blais of Coventry and wife, Beverly, sister Leanne and grandmother Cecile in the audience rooting him on. Blais, who now lives in Matunuck, is a pharmacist for CVS in Providence. Word is he does very well in his TV quiz show debut. Continue reading
